Unleashing the Performing Arts Experience through Digital Innovation


Operating since 1996, Intercult initiates and leads collaborative culture projects and networks and educates cultural organisations in the subject of cultural planning, audience development and international collaborations. IC shares its own experience through seminars, conferences, lectures and mentorship targeting mainly managers at culture organisations in Sweden through the European Resource Center for Culture and Europe Direct Information Center.

CUBE NGO is an advocate for social development and cohesion, committed to fostering a more inclusive society through research, education, and artistic engagement. They support emerging artists who address pressing social issues, bridging the gap between creative expression and societal progress. Their work with diverse groups of individuals, from artists and performers to socially excluded communities, fosters dialogue and collaboration across various sectors. Lastly, throughout their engaging in EU-funded projects focused on arts and social impact, the organization demonstrates its commitment to using art as a catalyst for positive change.

Cultuurconnect runs the basic digital infrastructure of all Flemish libraries (e.g. the common website and reservation system of all Flemish libraries). Consequently, Cultuurconnect has extensive experience with large-scale and complex digital projects involving various partners (suppliers, technology players, start-ups, artistic initiatives). Furthermore, Cultuurconnect has participated in and led numerous Flemish subsidised projects in the cultural sector on digital innovation. Examples of such projects include a uniform ticketing system for Flemish performing arts houses, a streaming project in which stage performances are streamed to homes for the elderly, the uniform catalogue system of Flemish libraries, a streaming platform for libraries and many more.

KIBLA, Association for Culture and Education, Maribor, Slovenia, founded 1996, is a Slovenian and international non-governmental institution in the segmented field of creative industries, interdisciplinary, intermedia and multimedia art, visual arts, AV, music, culture, and informal education. Concerning the project, KIBLA can collaborate with other consortium partners on exchanges, new productions, workshops, and mentoring sessions, showcase of annual productions etc.

Associazione Culturale CapoTrave/Kilowatt is leading the most relevant Italian network for the curatorial support of digital creativity in the perfrorming arts called “”Residenze Digitali””. It has a pioneer role in the activities of curatorial co-programming and co-managing with its own “Group of Active Spectators” called “Visionari”, able to actively involve more than 50 people every year. C/K is organizing one of the most important European International Festival, Kilowatt, taking place in Sansepolcro, in Tuscany, and managing 2 theatres, Teatro alla Misercordia in Sansepolcro and Teatro Mario Spina in Castiglion Fiorentino, recognised by the Italian Ministry of Culture as one of the 10 National
Centres for Creative Residencies.

MMMAD is a Spanish non-profit cultural association whose aim is to exhibit, disseminate and think about digital creation. Focused on the intersection between digital culture and public space, the association has been organising the MMMAD festival in Madrid since 2020, with a programme of exhibitions, installations, calls, workshops, and meetings throughout the city every year. MMMAD was created with the aim of bringing digital art to the general public, through the development of actions in the public space, outdoors; innovating formats and spaces for digital art, creating hybrid experiences between the physical and digital worlds that escape conventional formats; transforming public space into a space
for digital art, converting urban advertising media into cultural spaces, and supporting emerging talent, programming young artists and creators alongside established national and international artists.
