DIGITAL on STAGE Announces the 24 Funded Projects of Its Cascade Funding Programme

DIGITAL on STAGE is proud to announce the 24 selected projects that will be supported through its Cascade Funding Programme, following an extensive international open call and a highly competitive evaluation process.

The programme aimed to empower artists and creative teams working at the intersection of digital technologies and performing arts, fostering innovation, experimentation, and cross-disciplinary collaboration across Europe. The selected projects reflect a vibrant diversity of artistic approaches, formats, and technological explorations, including immersive performance, XR, interactive storytelling, audiovisual experimentation, and digitally augmented choreography.

The call received a high number of high-quality proposals from across Europe. After a thorough evaluation process carried out by the project partners and external experts, 24 outstanding projects were selected for funding, with four projects awarded per consortium partner.

The funded artists and creative teams will now enter a period of artistic development, prototyping, and mentoring, supported by the DIGITAL on STAGE ecosystem. Their works will be showcased through a series of international presentations, contributing to the future of digitally driven performing arts.
